Since closing the Pier because of the COVID-19 virus, we have been working hard to generate the funds to continue our maintenance programme.

In April, we have raised almost £12,000 through donations and the sale of plaques and annual passes. Scroll down to read how – you too – can help the Pier.

Thank you  so much to all those who have already supported the Pier at this difficult time. It has given us the confidence to commission a drone survey following the recent storms. The story should  be featured on BBC Points West  next week!

We thought you might like to see an exclusive edit of this, including parts of the the Pier that you have probably never seen before!  The video can be viewed below.  As you can see, some of the concrete needs repair work –  it is on our list to do soon.

On some older iPads and iPhones with early versions of IOS, the above link may not work. This one will.

We have set ourselves the target of raising £10,000 each month whilst the Pier is closed.

So if you haven’t yet made a contribution, we will be so grateful if you can help us towards our May target by following the attached link

● Make a donation at

● Buy a Pier plaque at These can be dedicated to a person (perhaps a new child or grandchild) or can mark an event or any special occasion.

● Buy an annual pass for yourself or a friend, so you can come on a walk down the Pier whenever you choose when it reopens. New Annual Passes will be valid for 12 months from the date we reopen and can be bought here

Thank you for your continued loyalty to the Pier and we hope that you are able to help us survive this unprecedented crisis.
