The Trust is delighted to announce a new partnership with local Clevedon company, Envira-Mech Services Limited. After a chance meeting on the Zig-Zag last year, Envira-Mech’s Managing Director, Terry Mcleod has confirmed that the company would be delighted to undertake the servicing and maintenance of the Pier’s mechanical systems on an ongoing basis, free of charge.
Phil Curme, Chair of Clevedon Pier and Heritage Trust said: “We are delighted to have Terry and his team working with us. Envira-Mech are a highly regarded local company and aside from the considerable cost saving their involvement will unlock for us, it is great to know that their locally based engineers will be around when we need them”.
Nicole Laken, Business Manager at Clevedon Pier said: “Two of Envira-Mech’s engineers, Steve and Marcus, visited us this morning and it is clear that the assistance they will be providing will be invaluable. It’s a relief to know that we have such a responsive team to call upon when help is needed”.
Terry Mcleod, Managing Director of Envira-Mech, said “Clevedon Pier is a unique treasure and we are more than happy to support the work of the Trust in making sure that it is well maintained and preserved for future generations”.
Statement from Envira-Mech Service Ltd
We are a Clevedon based business specialising in Mechanical, Air Conditioning and Building Services, and we are pleased to announce that we are now sponsoring the Clevedon Pier and Heritage Trust. We have committed to a rolling annual maintenance contract for all of their mechanical services provided free of charge as part of our ongoing commitment to the local Community.
The Business was formed 14 years ago by Terry Macleod and has grown year-on-year due to our ability to deliver turn-key packages nationally, and secure repeat business on account of our quality and workmanship. We work with local colleges, schools, universities, hospitals and the NHS through to building contractors and Government based contracts.
We recognise that the world we live in today is rapidly changing, and the importance and quality of the working environment is attracting more attention. This presents some interesting challenges regarding the use and implementation of renewable energy. This technology is becoming common place, as more and more businesses move towards attaining a zero-carbon impact.
The sort of challenges which all organisations face in terms of de-carbonising the heating and ventilation of their buildings is something we are at the forefront of. We are passionate about protecting the environment and work hard to design and implement solutions to help our clients achieve their goals.
