Are dogs allowed on the Pier?

Yes, they are allowed in the Gift Shop and the Pier itself (on a short lead), but not in the Discovery Room, Glass Box restaurant or Pagoda café.

What are your opening times?

Our summer opening hours are:

Monday – Friday: 10.00 – 16.30

Saturday & Sunday: 10.00 – 17.00

Please note that the last Pier entry is 30 minutes before the closure time.

During the winter months (from November) we are closed Monday & Tuesday’s.

Wednesday – Friday: 10.00 – 16.00

Saturday & Sunday: 10.00 – 16.30

Can you get married on the Pier?

Yes, we can facilitate both wedding ceremonies and parties. Please email enquiries@clevedonpier.com for more information.

Can you scatter ashes on the Pier?

Are the Pagoda, Glass Box, Bell Room and Porthole Room available for individual hire?

Yes, we can facilitate the hire of any one of these, either all together or individually. This could be for a handful of occasions and events, including but not limited to workshops, weddings, wakes, parties, work events, galleries, etc. Please email enquiries@clevedonpier.com for more information.

Do you welcome corporate volunteers?

Can you buy a one-day ticket?

No, our standard ticket allows for 12 months of free return visits. Our ticket prices are as follows:

Adults: £6.50

Child (aged 4 to 15): £4

Family (2 adults and up to 3 children; additional children are £1 each): £17

Do you offer discounts for Carers?

Entry is free for those accompanying a paying guest with additional needs. ID required: Blue Badge, DLA Letter, PIP Letter, Carers Card. If more than one carer is required, please bring proof of this.

Do I have to pay for a ticket for a child below the age of 4?

No, children under 4 have free entry.

Does Gift Aid add any extra cost to my ticket?

No, Gift Aid does not add any additional costs to your ticket. By choosing to Gift Aid your ticket, you allow us to reclaim 25% Gift Aid on the entire ticket price, helping us preserve the Pier for future generations at no extra cost to you.

Where does the Pier ticket money go?

The Pier costs over £160,000 a year to maintain, and therefore, the money raised through the ticket price goes directly to the maintenance of the Pier.

Do you accept cash?

No, we are a card-only business.

Do you accept American Express?

No.

Is the Pier accessible?

  • Enter through our large gates.

• • There is a slope leading down to our Glass Box restaurant and the Pier itself.

• • There are large double-opening doors to the Glass Box restaurant, which are wheelchair and Zimmer frame-friendly.

• • There is a lift leading down to the Porthole Room and a disabled toilet.

• • The planks on the Pier are uneven, and therefore, we recommend that visitors be mindful of this.

• • The Pagoda Cafe is up one set of stairs.

• • However, there is plenty of undercover seating on the base of the Pier (which has beautiful views of the channel).

• • Our Discovery Room is also up a flight of stairs.

How do I volunteer at the Pier?

The Pier caters for a range of volunteer opportunities, including admin, maintenance, gardening, front of house, etc. Please email enquiries@clevedonpier.com for more information.

Are there boats from Clevedon Pier?

Yes, the Waverly visits us every summer.
