As part of the National ‘There But Not There’ campaign, in remembrance of the WW1 Centenary, Clevedon Pier are honouring all those from Clevedon who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The 208 men and women who lost their lives and those who returned from war will be commemorated.
From Saturday 4 August, in the 100 days before 11 November, 3 silhouettes will be placed on Clevedon Pier overlooking the Severn Estuary – two silhouettes will remember up to 3 people per day, the third silhouette will honour all who returned.
Each day on our Facebook page we will honour those names.
