A plaque for all occasions

By creating a Pier Plaque you are helping preserve Clevedon Pier for generations. Due to demand, please allow 10-12 weeks from order to plaque completion.

Our famous ‘Sponsor a Plank’ fundraiser has seen over 14,000 plaques placed on the Pier since 1989, and you can be part of Clevedon Pier’s legacy.

Plaques can be for any occasion – an engagement, a marriage, a birthday, “in remembrance”, or indeed any special event that you want to acknowledge.

Pier Plaques come in four sizes, and are engraved with wording of your choice. Please see examples below…

ORDER YOUR PLAQUE ONLINE

Please make your choice from the options below. You can design and check your plaque before payment. Your plaque will be engraved and added to the Pier. The plaque can take 10 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to completion. We will contact you by email when your plaque has been installed.

DECK PLAQUE £40
Brass plaque (101mm x 12.5mm). One line only, maximum 17 characters including spaces and will be placed on the decking of the pier’s promenade.

PIER HEAD PLAQUE £100
Brass plaque (100mm x 30mm). Up to 3 lines, maximum 24 characters per line including spaces and will be placed on the decking of the pier head. (Please note: It is not usually possible to have a new plaque next to an existing one, for reasons of space. There is a key to the locations where we add plaques, which can be seen by clicking here. We do not add new plaques to the benches inside the shelters.)

SMALL BENCH PLAQUE £175
Brass plaque (125mm x 55mm). Up to 5 lines, maximum 27 characters per line including spaces to be set on the back of the benches running along the side of the pier.

LARGE BENCH PLAQUE £295
Brass plaque (220mm x 55mm). Up to 5 lines, maximum 41 characters per line including spaces) to be set on the back of the benches running along the side of the pier.

PIER PLAQUE CERTIFICATE £12 (including 2 x Pier day-passes to view plaque)

In addition to your plaque you can also purchase a Pier Plaque Certificate. The certificate provides a lovely keep-sake and commemorates your plaque inscription. Your certificate will be mailed to you once your plaque order has been installed.

Please note: Your certificate will be posted to the address on your order (UK-delivery only). If you wish to collect it or for it to be sent to a different address, please add this in the special instructions box before check out.

DIGITAL PHOTO £10
A high-resolution image of your plaque placed on Clevedon Pier. Your digital image will be emailed to you after your plaque is installed on the pier.
